The formulation is a concentrated bromine precursor.
BIOXID®1277 DRBR is effective at coincident dosing with the BIOXID®1230 or sodium hypochlorite to activate the active substances to produce active bromine in situ.
The formulation has strong oxidizing properties and a wide range of action in the range. It does not foam. Effectively removes biofilms already formed in the installation.
Proven effective against Legionella.
Scope of application:
Active bromine is a broad-spectrum biocide recommended for use in industrial water systems such as recirculating and single-flow cooling systems,
Some food processing equipment (pasteurizers, sterilizers) and air purification systems. It can be used to remove existing bio films.
BIOXID®1277 DRBR is very effective in the pH range of 6.5 to 8.5. In order to activate bromine, it must be
dosed together with BIOXID®1230 or sodium hypochlorite in a specific ratio through a precision dosing system.
The correct dosage is determined according to the degree of contamination and the type of microbial species that must be controlled.
We recommend a detailed review of the system performed by CT-CARD technologists. The dosing range must be strictly observed and supervised by our staff.
